“Executive Mentoring” – Steve Vorrius of Truth@Work, New Jersey

Steve Vorrius – Steve is the president of the Victory Executive Group, LLC, a strategic business and executive consulting practice, that concentrates on strategically mentoring business leaders and corporate executives to establish or refine their systems and processes. Since 2008, he has assisted more than 50 companies to deliver profitable results in the commercial, operational, financial and people management areas of their companies.

For more than 20 years, Steve has been assisting corporations, businesses, and organizations achieve extraordinary results. Steve believes that as Christian Business Leaders, we need to be intentional about being a beacon of light in this dark world and utilize our God given talents, gifts and vocations as a vehicle for God’s purpose. As servant leaders, our daily walk needs to be in complete alignment with our Lord and Saviour, so others may see Jesus through our actions, attitude and words in a real and practical way keeping in mind that our example just may be the only Bible that some people will ever read!

Steve currently serves as a Chapter President in New Jersey for the Truth@Work Christian Roundtable Program, which features a structured and proven curriculum that assists Christian CEOs, Executives and Business Leaders in building successful businesses while making strategic and operational decisions based on biblical principles and practices.

Prior to starting his own consulting practice, Steve spent 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry where he developed his business leadership and general management skills. He started in the industry as a sales representative and progressively earned his way to the senior executive management level of a multi-billion dollar global pharmaceutical company as well as a mid-market biotechnology company in the United States. Steve’s responsibilities included leading and turning around lagging business units and brands that resulted in significant profitability and net revenue increases to the bottom line. He specializes in strategic marketing, sales management, business development, brand management, and the development of high performance teams.

Steve has served in leadership roles for a variety of local and regional business groups, that has included the North Jersey Chapter of the Kingdom Chamber of Commerce from June 2009 until October 2011. He is a member of Terrill Road Baptist Church in Scotch Plains, NJ where he currently serves as a Deacon, leads the Finance Team and has recently completed his service as Trustee.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Norwich University, Military College of Vermont in Northfield, Vermont. Upon graduation, he earned his commission as an Armor Officer in U.S. Army Reserve. He has also completed executive management programs at Harvard and INSEAD University.

Steve resides in Clark, New Jersey with his wife, Gina and their twin daughters.
