With special guest ” Mrs. NJ” Claire Pavlinec

” Mrs. NJ”

Claire Pavlinec is the current reigning Mrs. NJ United States.  She is also the founder/director of “Maternal Wings”, a nonprofit organization that helps to provide impoverished new & expectant mothers with the necessities for childcare.  Claire is also a stay at home mother of two while working on her Masters Degree in Education with a certification in Special Education.

About Maternal Wings

Maternal Wings was launched by Claire Pavlinec after her children were born. Rather than disposing of her unneeded baby items, or making a few dollars by selling them at a garage sale, she set out to find mothers in need to donate her items. Claire had called some local clinics to see if they could use the items and found out that the need for these items was huge. In speaking with Robin Aniboli, Social Worker at Ocean Health Initiative, Claire saw how these items could make a great difference for mothers in need. Claire soon began collecting items from other moms she knew to donate to the clients of Ocean Health Initiative. Read more… http://www.maternalwings.com/index.htm

Child Advocacy Centers exist in many communities around the country to provide the best standards of practice for the investigation, management, treatment and prosecution of child abuse cases. The vision is to create “one team, one coordinated response to embrace the victims of child abuse.” Through the co-location of the professionals who provide the law enforcement, mental health, medical, victim advocacy, and prosecutorial services the children need only travel to one location to tell their story, greatly reducing their trauma and stress. Scripture

Corinthians 3: 7-9 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

1st Peter 4: 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
