Tom has over 25 years of investment management experience. He holds a BS in Finance with honors from the City University of New York. Tom is a long-time member of MENSA International. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Tom has spent his career focusing on the intricacies of equity valuations and building winning portfolio strategies for investors. He has been quoted in dozens of business magazines and newspapers worldwide. He has been interviewed on television and radio in both the US and foreign markets. Tom has given many speeches on equities and markets in Toronto, Hong Kong, Paris, London, Vancouver, Montreal and New York. Tom previously worked as Director of Research at Dumont & Blake; Chief Investment Officer for US Equities with HSBC Investments; and as a Senior Analyst for Merrill Lynch Asset Management working on a small and mid-cap equity growth fund, which earned a Lipper #1 ranking in 1995. Tom also previously worked as a Senior Securities Analyst at Midlantic National Bank as well as Vice President at Dreman Value Management.

Tom’s outside activities include serving as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Freehold where he is active as a participant in the Family Promise program which provides homeless children and their families with food, shelter and comprehensive services by partnering with Congregations throughout Monmouth County. Tom also serves regularly as an Usher and previously
spent four years as a Sunday school teacher, and served for many years on the Finance, Property and Christian Outreach committees. In his limited free time, he is an avid martial artist and unicyclist. Tom considers his biggest achievement to be his family – Dona, his wife of over 15 years (a Deacon and a member of the Christian Education commission in the Church) and his 13-year old son Nicholas.
