Open since 2003, Natural Healthcare Center is the embodiment of a truly integrated Health and Wellness center. Recognizing that health and wellness is not single dimensional, Dr. James Proodian has brought together the best in several healthcare disciplines that enable the patient to achieve optimum health, often without the need for medications or surgery. Natural Healthcare Center utilizes “functional medicine” as a backdrop to its comprehensive approach. Functional medicine is
an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, functional medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.

Our patient care includes Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Clinical
Nutrition and Weight Loss, Physical Therapy, Fitness and Exercise Programs, Personal Training, Acupuncture, and Yoga. Natural Healthcare Center is a state-of-the-art 7,000 square foot self- contained building.

In addition, Dr. Proodian’s “Wellness at Work” Health Education Programs have brought the power of health literacy to thousands of people throughout our community and state. Wellness at Work is a unique educational program where members of companies, organizations, schools and universities attend health seminars given by Dr. Proodian that teaches them how to improve their health in several key areas. These seminars are provided free of charge in Monmouth County.
